Lift Me Up draws inspiration from my childhood in Glasgow, particularly from the memories of Rouken Glen Park. This was a place my parents often took my sister and me, and as I grew older, the memories of the park grew ever clearer. When I think of Rouken Glen Park, it’s always the winter months that come to mind, the moment when the trees’ colours shift and the first snow begins to blanket the ground. The crisp, quiet beauty of the park in wintertime, with the stark contrast of snow against the red leaves on the trees.
