Oishii is an artwork inspired by a Japanese shirt I was given as a child. This shirt held great sentimental value for me, becoming a treasured part of my early years. It wasn’t just a piece of clothing, it was something I felt deeply connected to, a source of comfort and familiarity. Through this artwork, I reflect on the strong emotional attachment we form with certain objects in our early years and how they shape our sense of identity and nostalgia.
